About the brand's name

   
Hello,
About the brand's name, it was hard to decide... but thanks to my mother-in-law and my husband, they came out with a lot of suggestions. I told them that I wanted the name to reflect nature, white, blue, clean, fairy-tale, peaceful, trees, freedom, love, peace, and elegance.
My husband thought to use the word “Tranquil” in some form, for the brand's name, and basically, I loved the definition of calm, peaceful, a quiet wave of water. Unfortunately, "Tranquil" is already used too frequently on the web now.

In the end we both thought to choose the brand name “Halcyon”. This is the name of a Green Kingfisher and also means calm, peaceful and quiet.
    
I liked it because it is consistent with my Taiwanese name.  After that, I started the Halcyon standard mark design and also a package design. Halcyon jewelry will have a pattern closure pocket, a logo marked cotton bag and a price tag. The cage door was opened to make a feeling of freedom and the totem twisted vines with leaves, sometimes they twisted into the shape of love ~ I like contrasting colors that make highlights in the harmonic tones to close out dull feelings. I hope you like my design and thank you for checking my blog.

how was start?

 

The jewelry is made with love and inspired by nature!
I guess every girl has a secret dream. Do you wonder what it is? Is it a white feather or a fallen autumn leaf, or a freedom bird?
Everything in nature is so beautiful and unique, and it can become a little secret in your palm. I always carry a hand book and try to catch every little sparkle from normal life. When I was camping, a squirrel took away some bread from the table. It caught my eye and then it ran back into a pile of leaves like a busy little troublemaker. So that moment in my life inspired me to draft a squirrel in my jewelry story. I thought it was very cute and I wanted to keep the memory by sculpting it. It always starts from just an idea, then boom! Out comes more ideas! Inspired by nature, white, peace, blue, elegance, fairy-tales, tranquility, trees, and love… That is Halcyon.
Each design combines sterling silver, a luscious mix of pearls, glass beads, crystal, semi-precious gemstones, and Czechoslovakia crystal to create unique pieces to adorn you!
It is my hope that this shines through in my designs and that you, too, find joy in them.
